Before baby comes, you prepare a hospital bag…. everything seems to be sorted, photographer booked??? (I Would not leave this for chance. There’s only so many Newborn Sessions I can take on per month, Take note the window to photograph a newborn is super narrow!)

The only concern that is left, is the birth. (Lets be honest, it is frightening and it will always be, and I think it is ok to be.)

… Fast Forward….

BABY is here!!!! Sleep deprivation kicks in at day 2. Chaos at home kicks in at day 3 (this is being generous) Worrying about things, that you never thought even existed, that comes straight away.

The Queue at the door with visitors that will want to TOUCH the baby is getting longer every day.

First thought of going out with the baby. First actual outing with the baby….

… Oh and there's this….

THE PHOTOSHOOT!!!

It must feel like it is a mountain to climb. Fear not, I am a baby whisperer and most parents want to take me home. So my promise is, I will help you and you will be able to relax, even if its just for few hours.

Here it is all what you need to bring with you: Baby Nappies Milk Dummy/Pacifier (Even if you don’t give it at home. Trust me when I say, IT MIGHT BE WHAT MAKES your session a SUCCESS! Food for yourselves (simply stop at the supermarket before the session, and get you some treats!!! it will take at least a few hours, you will get peckish, especially if rushing in the morning left you with no breakfast) I will have water, coffee and tea.

That's it.

I work around babies schedule so no need to change your routine or anything for me. I change nappies and give milk (if baby is feeding from the bottle) You can relax, enjoy and watch me work - creating and capturing beautiful memories of your precious baby.

When it comes to booking your session, there are a lot of questions about how the process works. Since your new little peanut isn’t here yet, it’s hard to figure out a schedule. Here is what I suggest:

Contact us during the beginning of your third trimester to set a date for the session. I require a deposit of 50% of the session fee to hold the date for you, and we only accept newborn sessions during the first 14 days after birth. This means that we will schedule the session for sometime within two weeks of your due date.

I will also hold an opening for two backup dates – one a week after the original session date, and one a week prior to your due date. This ensures that if your little nugget doesn’t come according to schedule you’ll still be covered.

Keep in contact with me as your pregnancy comes to a close, so we can be prepared. After the baby is born, give me a call or sent a message so I can make sure that one of the dates we have set will work out.
